Estate Sale 316 Rural Ave Williamsport 2 floors 3 car garage tents & porch loaded

Our next sale is here!   It is going to be at 316 Rural Avenue and has been worked on at the same time as our previous Elmira Street Sale.  Both owners were related and have very similar tastes in their belongings.   All items sold and available at Elmira was sold or given to American Rescue Workers.   This sale will be held on Thursday, August 21 from 8:30am until 3pm, Friday, August 22 from 8:30am – 2pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 11am.   We will be open for those three days only.  This home is just a few doors down from Confusion Corner where Hepburn, Market, Rural, and Brandon Park entrance meet.  It is on Rural on the way to the UPMC Williamsport Hospital.  As a result of this location, local parking may not be available during the busy parts of this sale.  We recommend that you park along Elmira Street or on Hepburn Street and walk to the sale if this is the case.  There is also a small community church at the corner of Elmira and Louisa Streets that you may wish to park at as long as services are not going on. 

The home is loaded with lots of items which we could not place in Elmira Street’s sale due to space constraints.  This home will feature the two main floors loaded with furniture and household goods as well as a three car plus garage loaded with Box Lots and very interesting items too!    We also have the porch loaded with books and half of those books are cookbooks.    You will see that we will be holding this sale in an area that is a little more spacious which should allow us to let in most of customers as they are lined up.   We will decide later if we may have to limit the number of shoppers if the spaces begin to get too full for safely shopping.  

In this sale we have lots of beautiful furniture featuring Eastlake style settee and matching Eastlake style sitting chairs with a very elegant light cream-colored upholstery.  We also have some Empire style chairs, other parlor furniture featuring mahogany chairs with floral prints, burgundy prints, and a beautiful red rocking chair.   Upstairs we also have more Dixie Dressers with mirrors, full size beds, queen size beds, and twin beds as well as other cabinets, antique golden oak dresser with mirror, several more oak washstands, and plenty of dining tables from Wooden, Veneer, and metal chrome style tables with awesome chairs!   There is also a nice selection of storage trunks.   Upstairs, there is one room filled with cane chairs, rocking chairs, and a beautiful Oak Cabinet that you just have to see to appreciate.   We also have several cabinets throughout the home which you will want in your home too!

In glassware, there is tea and saucer sets, tea pots, pink depression, a few pieces of uranium glass as well as uranium glass furniture cups.     We have lots of clear glassware,  and other elegant serving pieces in this sale.  

We will also have several tents set up between the garage and the house to showcase jewelry and other items and a second checkout station. 

In housewares, we have a really beautiful set of gold colored service flatware with chest, drinking glasses, Pyrex, Corning Ware Corn Flower pattern dishes, and much more. 

In dolls, there is an extensive collection of dolls from Barbie to older dolls along with doll accessories, clothing and much more!

There is a wonderful selection of baby and infant vintage clothing you just have to see!  Great gifts for a baby shower, or for your grandchild! 

Besides all the collectible items listed above and below, we also have a really nice Emerson Brass Blade fan.  There is also a nice Doctor’s Office metal cabinet for sale too!  We almost forgot to mention, we have some vintage Disney Movie posters in very good condition!

In lamps and lighting, we have several beautiful antique floor lamps, table lamps, and other lighting items including oil lamps and Hurricane lamps too.  

In albums, there is a nice selection of albums covering everything from Elvis, Patsy Cline, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra to older music and modern music too!  Time to get yourselves some vinyl for your listening pleasure!  We even have older 45’s & 78 records too including children’s music.

In books, we have a whole outside front and side porch covered in tables full of books.  Many of these are cookbooks, but there are some very interesting reading material to be found here for sure!

We also have a nice selection of knitting yarns both in the home and out in the box lot area for your shopping pleasure!

In the garage we have lots of box lot items including older cleaning items, bar soaps, laundry detergent that if you don’t use the detergent, they would look really great just adorning your pantry!   We also have a really cool WWII vintage tire pump that is marked GMC, but it may actually be one of the first tire pumps for a Willy’s Jeep.   We also have a lot of Electrolux vacuums being sold as a lot!  We also have additional furniture items that we could not keep at Elmira Street.  We have chairs needing cane work, cane chairs in great condition and additional stands and cabinets in this area too.
