Multi-generation estate in Blaine, TN. Located approximately 15 minutes west of Knoxville.  The owner had a small store years ago and there is a lot of collectibles, vintage items, New Old Stock costume jewelry, plus her lifelong collection of costume jewelry, fashion clothing and accessories spanning over 50 years. Of special note is a basket made by Jesse Jones (Lot 28) who was a mountain basket weaver who lived in the isolated mountains of Scott County, VA. His work is featured in the book BASKETS AND BASKET MAKERS IN SOUTHERN APPALACHIA, written by John Rice Irwin (1982). Also of note in this auction is a nice bunch of country items from the family farm, canning jars, crocks, several butter churns, and a superb cast iron cauldron which is in usable condition. The pair of white heavy-iron garden chairs (lot 75) are especially nice and in excellent condition. The estate also has a nice collection of Fenton, Carnival Glass and Depression Glass. Location will be disclosed to high bidders. High bidders will be emailed after the auction to sign up for pickup. Bring packing material and help to load, we will be there to assist as well.
