This is a large home where the contents of a 5,000 square foot home will be sold. The owners had been in the house for 45 years and were collectors of fine furniture, antiques and artwork. Much of the traditional cherry and walnut furniture was custom made in Virginia per the owners’ tastes and specifications.

1971 W convertible. Red. New top. Runs good. Looks great. Needs some minor interior cosmetic work.
Furniture - 4 poster beds, bed side tables, dressers, high boy, chests, dining room suite of furniture with 6 chairs, couches, settees, coffee tables, plants stands, assorted chairs. Also, there is a large Oriental screen / room divider. Beautiful walnut, glass front corner cabinets, Pembroke side tables.Pie crust tilt top tables, game table, and impressive walnut secretary desk. And, a very old brass bed. Very substantial. Also, a wormy American Chestnut ice box.
Brassware. Many fine and weighted candle sticks and sconces made by Virginia Metalworks and Baldwin.
Fireplace Sets. Impressive Brass Andirons, ember guards, tool sets, etc. for the 4 fireplaces in the house.
Formal and Casual Dish Sets, including: Lavinia by Royal Worcester; Greenwich by Minton; Weatherly by Lenox; Richmond by Wedgwood; and several sets by Johnson Brothers.
Crystal by Waterford and other manufacturers.
Silver plate. A lot of silver plate serving items, including punchbowl with 12 cups, wine cooler, and many serving plexes including platter, trays, bowls and unique serving pieces.
Mirrors. Many in varying sizes. Traditional.
Men’s and women’s clothing. Nice name brand suits and dress clothes. Small and mediums sizes. Many women’s purses.
Clocks. There are many grandfather clocks, unique mantle clocks, wall mount regulator clocks, anniversary / 40 day clocks, cooDr. Pepper, clock. Ofparticular note is a German Junghans grandfather clock from the 1920’s-1930’s. It has baritone chimes and has a period, simple dark case with multiple beveled glass panes. The owner of the house was a clock collector and repaired clocks for many years. He also, kept many grandfather clocks operating across the southeast United States in homes, retail establishments, and government buildings
Electric Lamps. Many electric lamps and shades, including Waterford crystal lamps, Asian themed lamps, small and large lamps and many shades. Marching brass oil lamps that have been converted to electricity
Oil / Hurricane Lamps. There is a large selection of very old lamps with chimneys, lamps without chimneys, unique chimneys and various lamp parts.
Cookware. A large assortment of stainless cooking and bakeware - including bakeware and stovetop cookware. Also, there is a good assortment of old Corningware baking dishes.
Barware. Cordial sets, highballs, shakers, etc.
Horse Tack. 2 saddles made by Stubben in great shape. The saddles are Siegfried and Tristan. Also, leads, reins, cinches, and a fine wool horse blanket.
Christmas Items. Including nativity scene by Boehm, Carollers collection by Buyers Choice. Lenox Christmas dish set.
