NEW TO ONLINE AUCTIONS?
Whether you bid with us or someone else, there are a few things every bidder should know before getting started. First, review the buyer's premium. This is an additional percentage added to your winning bid and becomes part of your final purchase price.
Most importantly, KNOW THE PICKUP REQUIREMENTS before bidding. Make sure you can attend the scheduled pickup and have the help you need. Shipping is available on qualifying items. We can SOMETIMES make special pickup arrangements for an additional fee, but this must be worked out BEFORE auction pickup begins. If you have questions, call us before you bid. We're happy to help.
Know what a max bid is. Enter the highest amount you're willing to pay and HiBid will bid incrementally on your behalf as needed. You do NOT automatically pay your maximum.
Finally, understand the closing process. Lots close in order rather than all at once. We use a "soft close," meaning if someone bids during the final two minutes, that lot remains open for another two minutes to allow a counterbid.
MCM, VINTAGE KITCHEN, POTTERY, GLASS & FARMHOUSE FINDS
This is one of those auctions where the good stuff isn't confined to one category. It's a colorful mix of vintage pottery, retro kitchenware, MCM pieces, collectible glass, farmhouse décor, textiles, Boy Scout memorabilia, sewing and craft supplies, and plenty of smalls for collectors and resellers.
Vintage pottery is a particularly strong part of this sale. Look for McCoy, Shawnee Pottery, Treasure Craft, Fenton, figural pottery, planters, cookie jars, serving pieces and other vintage ceramics.
The kitchen and glassware categories are loaded with recognizable names and patterns including CorningWare Blue Cornflower, Anchor Hocking Royal Ruby, Imperial Candlewick, crystal, art glass, mason jars, silverplate, serving pieces, vintage kitchen accessories and retro cookware.
Farmhouse and country collectors will find roosters, kitchen décor, baskets, linens, vintage picnic pieces, coffee sacks, decorative glass, pottery and plenty of pieces with that collected-over-time look.
There's also Boy Scout memorabilia, vintage hats and accessories, Japanese textiles, brass décor, cat collectibles, vintage smalls, sewing notions, fabric, scrapbooking supplies, beads and craft material.
Some of our favorite individual finds include a large vintage Tonka truck, Treasure Craft orange drip-glaze fish serving set, Reed & Barton silverplate tilting kettle, Shawnee Granny Ann teapot, McCoy Dutch Boy cookie jar, Candlewick glassware, Royal Ruby glass, vintage Japanese silk, Boy Scout collectibles and plenty more.
Whether you're a pottery collector, vintage kitchen hunter, farmhouse decorator, flea market seller, booth owner, crafter or just someone who enjoys digging through old stuff, don't stop at the first page of this catalog. Some of the best finds are hiding deeper inside.
Closes Thursday, September 3rd at 7 PM CST.
Pickup Saturday, September 5th from 9 AM to 11 AM in Arlington, TX 76010.
