AUCTION INFORMATION: This auction is online only. By bidding in this auction, you agree to all terms and conditions.

AUCTION CLOSES: Sunday @ 5:00 pm CENTRAL TIME at a rate of 7 lots per minute.

PICKUP: Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
April 23 - 26 by appointment only.

If you cannot make it during the pickup times, please refrain from bidding.

PAYMENT: Your credit card will be charged immediately after the auction closes. Total invoice will include bid price, buyers premium of 15%, and 8.25% tax. A $10.00 service fee will be added if the card is declined, and you will receive an invoice to pay on-line.

TAX EXEMPT - A Texas Sales Tax Exempt form must be provided before bidding. If you are tax exempt, please email us a copy at thesweettexashome@gmail.com. You will need to provide a new copy of your signed form on January 1st of every year.

BIDDING NOTICE: Any items not picked up by end of pickup day will be forfeited and resold at a future auction. A $10 fee will be charged to the card on file, and bidding privileges may be revoked/suspended.

BY BIDDING: You agree to hold THE SWEET TEXAS HOME and its associates and employees and ANY AUCTION SITE PROPERTY OWNERS harmless for any and all injuries to your body and or property, and by accepting the terms and conditions, YOU are entering into a signed contract with THE SWEET TEXAS HOME AND ALL PARTIES INVOLVED ----------YOU assume all risks in obtaining your winning items.

PRIVACY: The Sweet Texas Home does not collect user information. All user names, contact and credit card information are collected and maintained by AuctionFlex. AuctionFlex provides The Sweet Texas Home with customer information provided during registration that is necessary to conduct our auctions and business.

INDEMNIFICATION: Buyer will not hold The Sweet Texas Home, it’s owners, affiliates or its employees, liable for accidents, injury, theft, or incidents related to this purchase. Buyer shall indemnify The Sweet Texas Home against any and all claims, damages, or liability (including reasonable attorney’s fees) as a result of injury or other harm suffered by any person and stemming from the sale, whether arising before, during, or after the sale. Buyer agrees to indemnify The Sweet Texas for any and all damages or losses.

GOVERNING LAW: This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Texas. Any and all lawsuits must be filed in Tarrant County courts and the Northern District of Texas.

AUTHENTICITY: Though all descriptions are believed to be correct, neither auction house nor seller makes any warranties of any kind with respect to the property and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source origin, fitness for a particular purpose, condition etc.

BIDDING: A bid by any person shall be conclusive proof that the person has made himself acquainted with these conditions of sale and has agree to be bound by them. In the event of non-payment during posted pickup days, we reserve the right to charge the outstanding invoice balance to the credit card you provided upon registration. Failure to honor your bid may result in loss of bidding privileges.

IMPORTANT: By placing a bid through this website, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to follow through with the purchase of the item should you win the item. All property is sold "AS IS", and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, usefulness, value, or any other determining factor. We attempt to describe the merchandise our customers are bidding on. We do this to the best of our ability and many times rely on information given to us from the consignor. The bidder hereby waives, releases, remises, acquits, and forever discharges The Sweet Texas Home, its owners, and any consignor, and shall indemnify and hold them harmless against any claims, actions, cause of action, demands, rights, damages, costs, expenses, or compensation whatsoever, direct or indirect, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, which the bidder now has or which may arise in the future on the account of or in any way growing out of or connected with any defects, latent or otherwise, or the physical condition of any items or lots purchased or any law or regulation applicable thereto. The Sweet Texas Home or consignor shall provide notice to bidder promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding.
