Estate Sale Fundraiser to benefit Garza HS

Please join us for a Fundraiser Estate Sale at 3208 Merrie Lynn Ave, on behalf of my mom, Khadija "Katy" Kapasi, who left this world on 1/6/25.

Please come by and take something and make a donation you think is fair.  Take the cheap stuff for free!

My mom would love to know her things are in the hands of people who appreciate her things.  (So would my wife and I, who have furniture and other items on the mix).  My mom told me, "When I'm gone, don't throw my things on the curb!"  This is part of my effort to honor that wish. 

She had quite a life - growing up in India in the '50s & '60s, marrying and moving to the US, raising two boys, facing hardships and realizing blessings.  You saving her things from the curb would make her happy, lol.

All money from sales will be donated to Garza HS, where I work.

There will be food & chai & coffee until we run out!

A few of my mom's items are high value, including her Wedgewood collection, designer purses, and fine art dolls. If you have advice on what to do with the Wedgewood collection, largely Jasperwood, I'm all ears!

Furniture - a beautiful mid-century modern chest of drawers, a leather sofa, 4 bookshelves, queen and twin bed frames and mattresses, chairs, a stylish 3' x 6' wooden dining table with six chairs and a leaf to extend it by 2 feet, side tables

A 1953 well-built Baldwin piano, recently cleaned & inspected & praised by the awesome Derek at TxPianos

Decorative pillows, regular pillows & covers, sheets, many blankets

So much decor - over 100 statues & figurines & ceramics & crafts & knick-knacks.
