1. Registration & Agreement to Terms.
All persons wishing to bid or purchase must register with the auctioneer using a valid credit card. Bidding constitutes ful agreement with these Terms & Conditions. By registering, bidders also consent to receive auction-related comunications via email and/or text. Your bid is a binding legal contract. If you're the winning bidder, you agree to pay the fully bid amount plus buyer's premium, applicable sales tax, and shipping costs.
2. Item condition, previews, & buyer responsibility
All items are sold AS IS-WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES, expressed or implied. Descriptions and images provided in the catalog are for reference only. They are not to be considered appraisals, certificates of authenticity, or guarantees of any kind. Buyers are strongly encouraged to preview items in person or virtually with auction staff, or ask clarifying questions before placing a bid. By bidding, buyers affirm they have performed due diligence or waived their right to do so and acept items in their existing condition. No allowances, refunds, or adjustments will be made due to inaccuracies in cataloging or undiscovered defects. All sales are final.
3. Payment Terms
Full payment is due within 48 hours following the auction close. The buyer will be sent a square invoice that they must pay before picking the items up. If this is not paid the card on file may be charged automatically for the total amount due (including buyer's premium, tax, and shipping). Alternatively, customers may pay at local pickup if they let the auction staff know ahead of time. Payments made via Square, ACH, Credit Card or Cash are non-refundable once processed.
4. Buyer's Premium
A 15% buyer's premium will automatically be added to the final bid on all purchases. This premium is part of the total purchase price
5. Sales Tax
Applicable Texas state and/or local sales tax will be applied unless a current, valid resale or exemption certificate is provided prior to auction close.
6. Tax on Buyer's Premium
Sales tax will also apply to the buyer's premium, unless exempt under clause 5.
7. Auctioneer Authority
The auctioneer reserves the right to:
a) reject any bid or bidder;
b) Bid on behalf of the seller, absentee bidders, or themselves;
c) Sell items with reserves on behalf of the seller;
d) Add or remove items from the auction at any time;
e) Resell unpaid items;
f) Group or subdivide lots in the seller's best interest.
8. Platform and Bidding Errors
Auctioneer is not responsible for missed bids or platform errors caused by human or technical issues. if a bid is not received or executed, it cannot be honored retroactively
9. Shipping Terms & Delivery Liability
Shipping will be arranged within 14 business days after the auction closes. Shipping costs will be calculated based on item size, weight, and method of shipping. Auction staff will combine items whenever possible to reduce shipping charges. ONce an item is handed off to the courier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.) all liability transfers to the buyer. Buyers are offered the option to add insurance. If insurance is declined, Hygge Sales & events is not responsible for any loss or damage in transit. Buyers may also arrange for their own courier to pickup at their own expense. If shipping charges remain unpaid beyond 7 business days from the reciept of a shipping invoice the auctioneer reserves the right to resell or donate those items without refund. Tracking delivery confirmation by the courier constitues fulfillment of our shipping obligation. The buyer waives the right to file a chargeback based on non-delivery once courier tracking confirms delivery.
10. Chargeback & Dispute Waiver
By registering and bidding, the buyer agrees not to initiate any chargebacks, disputes, or reversals on payments for any reason covered by these terms. If concerns arise the buyer agrees to contact the auction company in writing within 48 hours of delivery or local pickup. Failure to communicate prior to initiating a dispute will be treated as a breach of contract.
11. Pickup Terms
Buyers who opt for local pickup must retrieve items during designated pickup windows. items not picked up within the stated timeframe may be forfeited or resold. Buyers must sign a receipt upon pickup confirming item condition and acceptance. Once signed the sale is final.
12. Announcements & Updates
Any Statements, changes, or additions made by the auctioneer before or during the auction supersede prior advertisements or terms. It is the buyers obligation to check terms and conditions before bidding.

We're liquidating an incredible Austin, Tx based movie and television prop shop. They're still in business but needing to reduce inventory. Quite a bit of the inventory in the sale has been used on numerous sets, and while we're not able to offer a specific screen-matched use this prop shop has worked on productions such as Fear of the Walking Dead, Landman, Love & Death, and more. We're incredibly excited to have this opportunity and we think you're going to love grabbing some of this inventory for your resale business and personal collection both.
