Step into a treasure trove in the heart of Allandale! This lovely abode is filled to the top with a well-curated collection of lovely items from the former family home in Dallas. Pictures won't do it justice - it's taken me a while to soak it all in! This extraordinary estate sale features a lifetime collection of unique finds, meticulously curated by a the family's sweet mother who was an estate sale enthusiast and had an exceptional eye. Every piece tells a story, offering a rare opportunity for collectors, decorators, and treasure hunters alike. It's truly a world of wonder; everything is just really neat and a beautiful example of its kind.
As you explore the home, you’ll discover an array of vintage and antique pieces. In the upstairs bedrooms we have a wonderful selection of linens, women's clothing & accessories, antique and contemporary furniture including two queen-size beds, an Art Deco vanity and an almost brand-new Serta mattress as well as original artwork, unique global decor and antiques like stunning German mercury glass ornaments, Asian stacking chests, and a rare Thonet No. 4 Daum Chair. A painted black & white matching dresser & desk in the primary bedroom came from an old Texas hotel. Downstairs has more of everything - lots of decor, kitchen and dinnerware and more art.
The holiday collection has some beautiful Christopher Radko ornaments, nativity sets, folk art decorations and vintage Fitz & Floyd cookie jars and tureens. Art lovers and design enthusiasts will be captivated by an eclectic mix of folk art, antique decor, and one-of-a-kind pieces that span multiple styles and eras.
Downstairs we have an extensive collection of blue & white china and decor. We have the Blue Willow pattern in various pieces from makes like Homer Laughlin, Churchill, Spode, Johnson Bros., Royal Essex, Royal Doulton and more as well as Chinese blue & white decor. The kitchen also has other great patterns and collections from other various makers too, cool cookie jars and fun decor.
There is a fabulous contemporary drop-leaf dining table and four Milling Road by Baker caned back & seat wood chairs that are super comfortable and in excellent shape.
The living area has beautifully upholstered and comfortable furniture in goes-with-anything neutrals and fabulous art, both original and reproductions. We have tried to show the originals and the artists' signatures in the pictures where we can but not all are signed. The large painted canvas piece inspired by the famous painting "The Allegory of Painting" by Francois Boucher was acquired from Marburger in Round Top (as well as other items I've been told).
The front room has more blue & white and this is where I have consolidated most all of the Spode blue & white pieces. There is a four drawer chest from the Covington Park by Drexel Heritage collection and a two-piece table with hutch that is perfect to display your collections. And more art of course!
This three-day event is a great opportunity to uncover rare and remarkable finds. Join us from February 28th through March 2nd, 10 AM to 3 PM daily, and be among the first to claim these treasures before they’re gone.
Note: The sale is tight quarters. It is most of a 3500 sq ft. house moved into a 1400 sq ft. space. We will begin distributing numbers at 9am.
