Fun Sale in the Bird Streets of Garland

Our first sale of the year is in the charming “bird streets” neighborhood of Garland. The home is full of beautiful glass, vintage quilts, tons of holiday decor (remember, Easter is up next!), Texas Rangers memorabilia and collectibles. The homeowner was a Longaberger Basket Company rep and there are many, many types and styles of baskets, inserts, decorative fabric for the baskets, wire stands—just about everything in the Longaberger catalog!

We have about 10 vintage Fisher Price playsets complete with the people and all the accessories. These toys are extremely popular and it’s getting increasingly difficult to find the pieces that go along with them. We have a wicker bassinet on a rolling stand—dolls galore—lots of toys—a couple of nice older sewing machines and even a baby bed and a glider/ottoman.

In the kitchen you’ll find two different sets of Franciscan pottery, several sets of Corelle in different patterns, great decorative items and a kitchen full of baking and cooking items.

Come check out the gorgeous China cabinet with matching buffet. Feast your eyes on the Howard Miller grandfather clock. Figure out where you’ll put the MCM Zenith console stereo—it works! —and the wonderful lamps in the den. There is just so much great stuff and the house is packed!
