Our client, R.W spent his career in the television industry starting at the age of about 6 appearing in a Foley’s TV commercial. He went on to work for NBC and local affiliate KPRC, spending almost 40 years in the industry. One of his fondest early memories was chauffeuring Jane Pauley while she was in Houston covering NASA. Over the years he served as a studio camera operator, videographer, photojournalist and satellite engineer. He covered news, human interest stories and sports events in and around Houston as well as national events from 911 to the Space Shuttle Colombia disaster, to coverage of hurricanes from Katrina to Harvey.

R.W enjoyed ice hockey, sailing Cygnet with his father, flying (airplanes, models and drones), cycling and scuba diving. 

Many of R.W's hobbies are evident in the items you can find in this estate. His career was such a big part of his life, you will find a TON of new and VTG audio and video equipment within the estate.
