Description & Details
You are invited to the estate sale of James "Jim" Carroll, a decorated Brigadier General in the US Army. His life and career included significant events even beginning as a child with the evacuation of Hawaii after the Pearl Harbor attack (his family stationed there); graduation from Westpoint Military Academy in 1954; service guarding the Little Rock Nine to ensure the students' safety during integration; and upon retiring from active duty, years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. After military retirement, with his degree in Electrical Engineering, he entered the business world with Southwestern Bell, rising to leadership in the Contel Company, serving as Executive Vice-President and President of Telephone Operations.
