The couple were avid collectors of the following: antique bottles (many bought during their time in South America); items representing their German heritage; ceramic and pottery teacups, plates, dishware; glassware from 1930s-now; costume jewelry from the 1940s-now; old phonograph records(pre-1929), Reader's Digest album collections, albums(50s-70s), CDs of Christian and classical music; variety of purses, scarves, blankets, throws, pillows, belts, ties, craft items, sewing and quilting; kitchen items from storage containers, novelty teapots, crystal/glassware; Christian books, pictures, crosses; and hand crafted wood carvings, baskets, and linen from their years in Suriname, South America.
Remaining items are the things that make up a household and a lifetime like-- office furniture (computer desk, bookcases, cabinet), office items; medical equipment like travel wheelchair, walkers, wooden crutches, bedside commode; resource books, nonfiction/fiction, children's books, cookbooks (hard and softbound); outdoor pottery, tools, gardening items; flower vases; set of Christmas dishware (plates, cups, saucers by Gibson).
