L&S General Store L.L.C. – Online Auction Terms & Conditions

1. Items Sold "As Is":

All items are sold "as is." No warranties, express or implied, are provided regarding the condition, functionality, or suitability of the items.

It is the bidder’s responsibility to review item descriptions and photos before placing a bid.

2. No Returns or Refunds:

All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted under any circumstances.

3. Binding Bids:

All bids placed are binding and final. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the item if you are the highest bidder when the auction closes.

Bid retractions are not permitted.

4. Payment Methods:

Payment will be processed via the registered card on file automatically at the auction’s close.

If you are a cash buyer or claiming a tax exemption, you must notify us before the auction closes; otherwise, your card will be charged.

Tax-Exempt Buyers: If you fail to notify us of your tax-exempt status before the auction closes, we will not refund the tax. You will need to claim it when remitting sales tax.

5. Sales Tax Exemption:

Buyers claiming sales tax exemption must submit a valid and up-to-date sales tax and use permit prior to bidding.

Failure to provide proper documentation before the auction closes will result in your card being charged, and no tax refunds will be issued.

6. Item Pickup & Forfeiture Policy:

Items must be picked up during the designated pickup dates and times.

Late Pickup Fee: A $25 late fee will apply if items are not picked up during the scheduled time.

Forfeiture Policy: If items are not picked up within 10 days of the scheduled pickup date, they will be considered abandoned and forfeited, with no refunds or compensation.

We make reasonable efforts to contact winning bidders via email, text, or phone. If the bidder does not respond within 10 days, the items will be forfeited.

7. Shipping Policy & Pickup Option:

Automatic Shipping: Shipping will be automatically applied to buyers whose registered address is more than 100 miles from the auction location.

Opt-Out for Local Pickup: If you prefer to pick up your items instead of shipping, you must notify us via email or text within 12 hours of the auction’s close. Failure to communicate within this timeframe will result in shipping charges being applied automatically.

Shipping Costs: Calculated and charged at the same time as the winning bid.

Insurance Requirement: All shipped items will include mandatory insurance for the item's value (based on the winning bid) at the buyer's expense.

Handling Fees: A $5 per lot handling fee applies, with a maximum handling charge of $50 per invoice.

8. No Assistance with Loading or Packaging:

We do not provide assistance with loading, packaging, or securing items for transport. Bidders must bring their own labor and materials.

9. Email List & Communication Consent:

By registering for this auction, you consent to be added to our email list for future auction notifications and promotions.

You may unsubscribe at any time, but this does not affect transactional communications related to active auctions.
