Conditions of Sale
These conditions of sale, notices, and explanations set out the terms on which we offer lots listed in our catalog for sale. By registering to bid and/or by bidding at auction, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before doing so.
Binding Contract. When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. By registering and bidding you agree to accept these terms and conditions. By registering in any of our auctions, you grant us permission to contact you via email, phone, or text regarding invoices, shipping, pick-up, or upcoming auctions.
Bidding. Prospective buyers must register with Live Auctioneers before bidding. This may require bank or financial references before registration.
Bidding as Principle. When making a bid, a bidder is accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price, including the buyer's premium, all applicable taxes and all other applicable charges, unless it has been explicitly agreed upon in writing with Terminal 37 Antiques before the commencement of the sale that the bidder is acting as agent on behalf of an identified third party acceptable to Terminal 37 Antiques, and that Terminal 37 Antiques will only look to the principal for payment.
Absentee Bids. Terminal 37 Antiques does not accept written absentee bids as all bidding will take place online via Live Auctioneers.
Telephone Bids. Terminal 37 Antiques does not accept telephone bids as all bidding will take place online via Live Auctioneers.
Buyer's Premium & Fees. A buyer's premium of 22% is added to the hammer price of every lot. Live Auctioneers also charges a 3% convenience fee for all payment made by credit card.
Sales Tax. Live Auctioneers does add sales tax to their invoices. If you are exempt, please upload your exemption information to your Live Auctioneers account.
Payment. After 3 days your credit card on file will be automatically charged by Live Auctioneers. If you are paying at pick up please notify us at info@terminal37.com so that your card does not get charged. Invoices not paid within 3 days will have the credit card on file charged. We do not accept payments over the phone. All invoices over $2000 must be paid by wire or ACH.
All invoice must be paid withing 10 days of the sale or a dispute will be opened. The dispute will be removed once payment is made. If payment is not made, the dispute will stand and you will no longer be able to bid in our auctions. After 30 days of failure to pay , the item will be relisted and/or resold.
Bidding on the wrong item, unintentionally bidding on the wrong item, or if you decide that you don't want the item that is not grounds for refusal to pay and the auction house will not assume the cost of your mistake.
No chargeback policy. Purchasers agree that disputes of any nature may not be resolved by a credit card chargeback and further agree to refrain from filing any chargeback claim against Terminal 37 Antiques and/or its credit card merchant. By purchasing at Terminal 37 Antiques, the purchaser waives the right to initiate a chargeback and furthermore agrees to pay a minimum of $500 plus administrative fees, costs, attorney fees, and/or any other charges associated with responding to said chargeback due to the administrative burden of responding to said dispute.
Non-Payments. Terminal 37 Antiques pays it consignors four weeks after the day of the sale. If a buyer fails to make payment within 30 days of the day of sale, Terminal 37 Antiques shall be entitled to do any of the following.
After 30 Days File a Civil Complaint against the buyer to recover any balance due plus court fees, interest, storage fees, administrative costs, attorney fees, and any other applicable financial hardship caused to Terminal 37 Antiques, and/or the consignor, or pursue other collection avenues to recover any and all losses.
After 45 Days Re-offer the items for sale, either publicly or privately, and collect any remaining balance owed after such sale from the original buyer, including, but not limited to:
-Total balance remaining.
-Lost buyer's premium.
-Lost consignor's fee.
-Court costs.
-Interest.
-Storage fees.
-Attorney fees.
-Administrative costs including those related to re-selling the item(s).
-Any other related fees.
Shipping and Local Pickup. Buyer pays all shipping costs such as postage, materials, handling, and insurance. Most items will be shipped by our in-house shipping department via USPS, FedEx, or UPS. If your are out of state we will automatically ship your items unless you tell us otherwise. Oversized or unique items may not be shipped by out in-house shipping department and will require the buy to utilize a recommended shipper or their own shipper for deliver, or conduct a local pick-up.
We will ship to address on your invoice/Live Auctioneers account. Please ensure this address is correct before bidding. If you need to change this address, you must contact us via email at info@terminal37.com and must be approved by us. We reserve the right to refuse your request and as such your items will be sent to the address on your invoice/Live Auctioneers account.
Local pick-up is available by appointment from 10-5 Tuesday to Friday. Please email us at info@terminal37.com promptly after the auction so that we do not auto ship your items.
Storage Fees. Any items left at the shop for more than 30 days following the sale will incur storage fees at a rate of $5.00 per lot, per day (this rate applies to all items regardless of size or value). Storage fees will begin on the 11th day regardless of payment status. Items remaining at our shop 30 days after the auction date will be considered abandoned and may be consigned to a future auction without additional notice to the purchaser.

We endeavor to be fair and forthright with our descriptions and condition reports; however, bidders must acknowledge that antique items often show normal signs of use and wear, which might not be specified in a condition report. If you are a very particular client with expectations of perfection for the items you purchase, it is advisable that you inspect items in person or that you do not submit a bid as your definition of condition may be more exacting than an appraiser could have time to verify.
The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in good condition. Terminal 37 Antiques reserves the right to reject any request for a condition report/additional photograph in which, in our opinion, the value of the object is not commensurate with the time necessary to complete the request. Weights and measurements are approximate. Any signed items has a limited guarantee from us for 30 days from the end of the auction. Some items may have COA's and some do not. Please do your due diligence when buying autographs. Anything that has a JSA or PSA will have a lifetime guarantee all other COA's are bought at the buyers risk with a limited 30 day guarantee from the end of the auction date.
Sports Cards. Terminal 37 Antiques tries our best to represent the cards we are selling. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Full preview and inspection is recommended.
Restricted Items: We currently do not consign or sell the following items. Automobiles, furniture, or firearms. Any material associated with terrorism, hate, racism, oppression, or Nazi items.
Purchased Lots. If for any reason a purchased lot cannot be delivered in the same condition as at the time of sale, or should any purchased lot be stolen, miss-delivered, or lost prior to delivery, Terminal 37 Antiques shall not be liable for any amount more than that paid by the purchaser.
Legal Ramifications. The rights and obligations of the parties with respect to these Conditions of Sale, the conduct of the auction, and any matters connected with any of the foregoing shall be governed and interpreted by the laws of the jurisdiction in Virginia. If any part of these Conditions of Sale is found by any court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that part shall be discounted, and the rest of the conditions shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any and all the conditions may be waived or modified at the sole discretion of Terminal 37 Antiques.

This auction offers something for every collector looking for airline, railroad, and maritime items. Be sure to browse the full catalog. Bidding is now open. Live lots will begin to close July 18th at 10:00AM Eastern Time. Shipping is available by our in-house shipping department, along with local pick-up in Herndon, VA. 25% of all proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated to the Raise Your Banner Foundation, a Washington DC based non-profit whose mission is to break down the stigma surrounding mental health care.
