Terms & Conditions

Payments accepted: cash, credit card, pre-approved checks, and Venmo. Minimum credit card purchase is $5. Payment in full is required prior to all items removal.
Sales tax will be collected at time of payment. Tax exempt buyers must present appropriate documents for exemption.
Boxes, wrapping paper, and other materials will be provided on first come first serve basis. Buyers are encouraged to bring their own packing materials.
Please be prepared to remove items. We will have limited help but are not able to move heavier/bulkier items while sale is occurring. Some items will need to be moved up or down a flight of stairs.
No prices will be provided prior to sale dates nor will any items be sold prior to event. For additional information such as condition reports, measurements, etc., please contact us prior to sale.
All items are sold as is with no implied or other warranty.
Buyers are responsible for removal of all items. Estates by Galaxie will offer local delivery and shipping for an additional fee.
All items must be removed within three (3) business days of sale. After three days, all sold items will be considered abandoned.
Service animals permitted. All other animals are forbidden on site.

After 15+ years of business in Downtown Lynchburg, we have decided to call it a day and to shutter our retail operation so we may focus on other business endeavors.  As such, we will be hosting a three-day sale here at our showroom.  We will be selling off over 4000 square feet of fine, mid century modern furniture, contemporary artwork, lighting, books, and much, much more.  Please join us for one final sale and celebration.

We are also pleased to present a variety of modern lamps and lighting as well as a massive collection of contemporary artwork including original paintings, textiles, and sculptures.  For the audiophiles out there, we have a variety of vintage Hi-Fi with offerings from Klipsch, KLH, Technics, Acoustat, Allison, Realistic, Pioneer, and more.  

Bibliophiles should also mark their calendars and plan to attend as we have a large library of books including an eclectic selection of art books, architecture books, history books, and classic, antiquarian books.
