Your winning bid is a contract. All sales final. No returns, no refunds. As is, where is. Lack of condition report does not mean that items are not without flaw. These items are used vintage and/or antique pieces. They are well used and likely not without a flaw here or there. If you are not used to buying at auction, please understand is it not the same as buying something new that comes out of a box from the manufacturer.

Payment required within 72 hours from the conclusion of the sale. Liveauctioneers Autopay will automatically charge your card after 72 hours. If you want to pay via ach, please email us within 24 hours of the conclusion of the sale. We only accept Credit cards through the liveauctioneers platform.

You are responsible for arranging shipping. Items that are not picked up within 30 days of conclusion of the sale will be charged $5 per lot per day for storage. Items not picked up by the 60th day will be deemed abandone and sold to pay storage fees. If you are using a shipper, you must email us a release of authorization and we will need at least 24 hours notice at a minimum to arrange pickup. We do not assume you want in house shipping or offer free shipping. If you want in house shipping you will need to email info@tidewatergalleries.com for a quote. There is a minimum charge of $25 for our staffs time and supplies.

We do our very best to accurately describe the items in our sale, but sometimes we may make a mistake. It is up to you to review the information and bid based on your knowledge and information. We encourage you to come to the preview and see and touch these items before bidding. If you see the word style anywhere in the listing then the item likely is NOT of the period it resembles. Items are sold as is, where is, with no guarantees or warranties of any kind at all as to age or condition.


PICKUPS ARE AT OUR PETERSBURG WAREHOUSE AND STAFFED MONDAY-WEDNESDAY FROM 9-12 AND 1-4 for the first 2 weeks post auction. Appointments must be made. After the first 2 weeks, you must call 2 days ahead. IF YOU REQUIRE A THURSDAY OR FRIDAY PICKUP, WE WILL NEED AT LEAST A WEEKS NOTICE TO ACCOMMODATE.

NO we will not meet your uship "shipper" at 6 oclock at night. We have lives outside of this auction and I cant believe I actually have to write this here but we have some very entitled folks who seem to think we should miss dinner with our families because they bought something for $100.

By accepting these terms, registering, and bidding in this auction you agree to not process a chargeback on your card or file any kind of lawsuit without first going through arbitration in Virginia.
