This charming home is filled with treasures lovingly collected over a lifetime. The owners are downsizing and can not take their extensive and exquisite collection with them. Highlights include, a pair of large lithographs by Picasso beautifully framed and in pristine condition, William Hogarth engravings including Rake’s Progress and a self-portrait, several rare Afghan paintings of figures, maps of Paris and Venice, many wonderful works of art on canvas and paper by Stephen Clark, David Kohan, David Freed, Eleanor Marchant, Carlton Abbott, and other artists. Restrike prints by Cezanne and Rembrandt. An extensive collection of beautiful and intricate Faberge eggs, a collection of hand-woven Afghan head coverings, clothing and shoes, a set of 1930s Stieff Rose sterling flatware, with exceptional serving pieces, a set of four Limoges oyster plates, fine oriental rugs of varying sizes and exquisite colors. Top of the line men's designer clothing and footwear in fabulous condition —including Ralph Lauren purple label, Ferragamo, Barbour, Loro Piana, Gucci, John Galliano, Brioni, Zegna, Canali, and Burberry. Furniture includes a large walnut dining table with leaves, six classical empire dining chairs, two sideboards, china, glassware and many fun and decorative accessories. There are two pianos—a Yamaha electronic which plays 200 selections by itself and a Baldwin 243 Hamilton Studio size. We have Native American pottery, pretty costume and sterling jewelry, books, garden items, and a large garage filled with vintage and modern Christmas decorations.

Please note that we are opening at 12pm (noon) on Saturday as the Monument Avenue 10k will be run in the morning. There is ample parking on the surrounding streets in the neighborhood. Entrance to the sale is on Shenandoah Avenue just off Monument.
