For more than half a century, this remarkable South Hill home became the canvas for a lifetime of thoughtful collecting. Every room reflected an appreciation for craftsmanship, history, beauty, and design—where antiques, fine decorative arts, mid-century modern, and unexpected treasures coexisted in perfect harmony.
Rather than collecting by trend, this estate was built by instinct. The result is an auction filled with pieces chosen for their quality, character, and timeless appeal.
Among the collection are cherished family heirlooms and historic pieces that have passed through three generations, carrying with them not only exceptional craftsmanship and beauty, but a tangible connection to the family’s history. These treasured objects were preserved, lived with, and handed down over decades—adding another layer of provenance and meaning to an already extraordinary collection.
Highlights include:
• Fine furniture (Victorian Revival seating, Hepplewhite-style sideboard, Ercol sideboard, carved accent tables, and period furnishings)
• Exceptional art & décor (large François Boucher reproduction, Jean-Baptiste Robie print, antique mirrors, framed artwork, and decorative accessories)
• Museum-worthy decorative arts (A.F. Kochendorfer harp zither, Chapman brass lamps, uranium glass, Victorian silverplate, antique crystal, cut glass, and curated serving collections)
• Vintage & mid-century design (Falkenstein-style pendant lights, Empoli art glass, Scandinavian glass, art pottery, brass décor, and collectible lighting)
• Fine glass & porcelain (Tiffin, Heisey, Imperial Glass, Hazel Atlas, crystal decanters, serving pieces, art glass, and elegant tableware)
• Unique collectibles & conversation pieces (Northwest Coast First Nations artwork, folk art, decorative objects, rare display pieces, and one-of-a-kind finds)
This is not simply an estate auction—it is the dispersal of a thoughtfully assembled private collection representing decades of exceptional taste, alongside family heirlooms and historic treasures whose stories span three generations. Whether you're furnishing a home, adding to a collection, decorating a business, or searching for that one extraordinary piece, you'll find quality throughout nearly every lot.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating a lifetime—and generations—of collecting. We hope these treasures find wonderful new homes where their stories will continue and they will be appreciated for generations to come.
