The property listed in this auction will be offered and sold by Seattle Vintage (dba Seattle Vintage Auctions) as owner, or as "Agent for Consignor", subject to the terms and conditions set forth on this page. Seattle Vintage reserves the right to change our terms & conditions at any point. It is your (the bidder) sole responsibility to stay informed on the most up-to-date amendments that are effective immediately, unless otherwise stated.
Should you decide to become a buyer with Seattle Vintage, you must read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions on the auction site.
USE OF SITE
You may use the Site only in accordance with and subject to these Terms of Use. Once you complete and submit your registration you have opted-in to receive email communication from us and in order to remain a member of this Site, you must agree to receive email from us.
You must also authorize Seattle Vintage to charge the credit or debit card you have entered on this site for the hammer price of an item which you were the high bidder, plus the buyer's premium, in some cases shipping & handling, and all applicable sales tax. Your card will be charged within 24 hours of the auction end. Failure to keep valid credit card information on file will result in your use of the site being terminated.
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Seattle Vintage requires each bidder to register online with Auction Ninja before placing any bids. A valid major credit card will be required. By becoming a REGISTERED member you represent that you are of legal age. As a member, you agree to provide true accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Site’s registration forms. In addition, as a member, you agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid credit card info within your membership profile so long as you maintain an account with Seattle Vintage.

BUYERS CONTRACT
Bids placed on the Seattle Vintage auction are a binding contractual agreement and obligation to pay.  You are responsible for paying all amounts due to Seattle Vintage including sale price, buyer's premium, in some cases shipping & handling, and all applicable state taxes. Please do not bid if you are unable to pay and take possession of the items in the specified time periods for each auction, sale or event. Any items won and not paid for by noon following the auction close are eligible for sale to underbidder(s). All sales are final. No returns, credits or exchanges.
ITEM DESCRIPTIONS
Please review all photos carefully prior to bidding. Items sold by Seattle Vintage are predominantly antique, vintage, or used. Seattle Vintage works to note any damage, repairs, or restorations, but the absence of such details does not guarantee perfect condition. Expect age-related wear. Condition reports are available upon request as a courtesy.
All property is sold "as-is, where-is." Seattle Vintage and the Consignor offer no warranties or representations regarding the property. Neither party is responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, authenticity, attribution, provenance, age, or condition. No statement, whether in the description, during the sale, or on any document, shall be considered a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
All sales are final. No returns, credits, or exchanges. Carefully review all photos before bidding.
BUYERS PREMIUM
A buyer’s premium of 18% (noted on each auction) will be added to the hammer price in all auctions and will be charged along with the hammer prices and applicable sales tax to the credit or debit card you have on file with Seattle Vintage within 24 hours of the auction end.
PAYMENT
ALL WINNING BIDDERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW ID WHEN PICKING UP AUCTION ITEMS.
Upon the close of the online auction, title to the offered lot passes to the highest bidder who thereupon (a) assumes full risk and responsibility therefore, and (b) will pay the full purchase price therefore, or such part as Seattle Vintage may require. Seattle Vintage is not responsible for technical issues or loss of Internet connection. In cases where your Internet connection is lost, Seattle Vintage will not stop the auction while your Internet connection is re-established.
Payment credit cards will be processed within 24 hours of the lot closing, All lots must be paid in full (including buyer’s premium) prior to picking up the lot or shipping.
No article shall be delivered to a buyer until a paid receipt has been presented. Seattle Vintage will not make deliveries. Buyers may on request facilitate the employment of carriers and packers for the buyer's account, however, Seattle Vintage will not be responsible for their acts in any respect whatsoever.
If payment in full is not made within 24 hours of the auction close, Seattle Vintage has the discretion to pursue one or more of the following options: a.) award lot to the next highest bidder, b.) resell the lot by public or private sale, c.) cancel the sale of the lot entirely, d.) bidder’s name and information may be shared with bidding platforms as a “bidder in default.”
SALES TAX
All sales are subject to appropriate sales tax laws. Tax exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate PRIOR to the end of the sale. Upon receipt of such information by Seattle Vintage, your future purchases will not be taxed. Tax resale forms can be submitted in your membership profile. Your profile name and address must be the same as your resale certificate. You must upload to your Auction Ninja account BEFORE BIDDING ONLY!
RETENTION OF CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

Pickup & Shipping Information
Identification: All winning bidders must present ID. The shipping address must match the information on the buyer's credit card and ID. Please ensure these details are updated before bidding.
Pickup: Winning bidders are required to pick up their items at the designated sale location within the assigned time frame as specified in the Pick-Up & Shipping Details tab of the auction and/or on their invoice.  Pickup dates are firm.  Failure to collect items within the allotted time results in forfeiture without compensation.
In-House Shipping: Seattle Vintage ships in-house using USPS flat rate shipping with a $10 handling fee plus USPS shipping fees. Not all items are eligible for in-house shipping. Inquire about shipping availability before bidding and do not assume items can be shipped.
Seattle Vintage does not ship art or ship to international addresses.
Items will ship the week after the auction. All packing and shipping fees for in-house shipping will be charged to the card on file.
Please note: Shipping fees may exceed your bid amount.
Items must fit in a USPS priority flat rate box. In-house shipping prices are as follows, plus handling fees and insurance (based on purchase price):

Flat rate large box - $28
Flat rate padded envelope - $11
Third-Party Shipping: All other shipping arrangements must be made by the buyer with a third-party shipper of their choice. Seattle Vintage recommends The UPS Store at 1416 NW 46th St STE 105, Seattle, WA 98107. Contact them via email at store6129@theupsstore.com. The UPS Store charges a $25 pickup fee from our location, in addition to their shipping rates. Seattle Vintage does not contact third-party shippers on your behalf.
Jewelry Shipping: Jewelry handling fees are $5 if it fits in a small priority box. Insurance costs depend on the purchase price.
Liability: Seattle Vintage is not responsible for loss or damage of purchased items handled or shipped, nor for actions or omissions by third-party shippers, whether recommended by Seattle Vintage or not. Items will not be released for shipment until full payment and ID are received. Bids cannot be retracted, canceled, or rescinded due to shipping issues, including costs or prohibitions. Bidders are responsible for considering shipping costs before bidding.
Private Residence Pickups: Some auctions have pickups at private residences, which will be clearly stated in the auction details. If pickup dates are missed at these locations, items are forfeited. Seattle Vintage does not move items from private residences to their warehouse for later pickup.
International Shipping and Regulations: Seattle Vintage does not ship internationally. All items are shipped with tracking. Buyers must be aware of local regulations regarding the shipping or receipt of ivory, taxidermy, and firearms. Seattle Vintage will not alter packing slips, lot descriptions, or prices paid listed on them. If items are seized by customs, Seattle Vintage is not liable for costs or refunds. If unsure about local rules and regulations, do not bid on items that may violate those regulations.
Item Retrieval and Storage Policy
Scheduled Pickup: All items must be collected on the designated pickup date or shipped via a third-party carrier.
Late Pickup & Storage Fees: Following the final pickup day, a daily storage fee of $10 per lot may be charged to the winning bidder for any uncollected items.
Forfeiture of Uncollected Items: Any paid lots remaining on our premises after the auction's closing will be deemed forfeited by the buyer without any compensation.
Buyer Risk: Items left with Seattle Vintage after the final pickup day are stored at the buyer's sole risk.
NOTE ABOUT EXTENDED BIDDING & “SOFT CLOSE”
Seattle Vintage uses Auction Ninja's platform for online auctions utilize extended bidding, also known as "soft close." This method replicates the feel of a live auction in a digital setting. Just like in person, where bidders can raise their offers until the hammer falls, our system allows for last-minute bids.
Specifically, if a bid is placed within the final five minutes of a lot's scheduled closing, the closing time automatically extends. This provides other potential buyers a chance to respond with higher bids. This process can repeat multiple times per lot depending on bidder engagement. Once the bidding activity on a lot stops, the countdown will conclude and the lot will close.

Last auction of the year! 1962 Seattle World's Fair glasses, one pair in red and another in blue. Crazy Diasy Corelle/Pyrex dishware/bakeware and vintage restaurant ware. Books, board games, vintage advertisements, Christmas, and much more!

Winning bidders will receive a link to sign up for a pick-up time on Friday, Dec. 5, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. or Saturday Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-noon. Shipping will be charged separately after the auction closes and items will be mailed via USPS the week after the auction closes.

Both books are part of the "Children of All Lands Stories" series. These two paperback books were both published by Lancer, but they feature two very different heros. The Ben Casey book from 1962 featured the character of Dr. Ben Casey, made famous in the emmy-award-winning TV show of the same name. "The Baron of Hong Kong," was published in 1967 and is a spy novel that  is part of the Bruce Baron series. Newer edition of the classic 1943 children's book "Katy and the Big Snow." This is a former library books and it's in very good condition. Great for kids ages preschool-3rd grade.These two shape books will keep your little ones interested because of the compelling characters and colorful illustrations. Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus are two favorites!This 1961 hardback book is part of the nurse Cherry Ames series. In this book she works as a public health nurse in Iowa and helps federal authorities to stop the manufacture and distribution of a bogus remedy while discovering the secret of a decrepit, abandoned farmhouse. You will never tire of reading through this program from the 1953 inauguration of President Eisenhower. The piece is full of beautiful black and white photos of both Eisenhower's family and Vice President Richard Nixon's family. Eisenhower's grandson David ended up marrying Nixon's daughter Julie!These two vintage books include poetic words and great artwork, one with illustrations and one with photos. Those published a decade apart they share a type of timeless quality. "Osborn on Leisure," from 1956, was commissioned by the International Design Conference at Aspen, Colorado. Printed and distributed by Squibb for the medical and allied professions. This 1967 edition of the hardback "I am the Green Grass" includes the dust jacket and is a collection of poems. Illustrated with duotone photographs by Joan and Jennifer Kinmont.These two vintage readers include charming full-color illustrations that will hold the interest of young children. "Dick and Jane We Play and Pretend" is a reprint of a vintage book with the same great illustration as the original. The other book is an actual vintage reader "Big New School," which also has great artwork.This 1957 Bobbsey Twins board game includes the original box, playing board, and spinner. The game pieces may be newer but there is a whole set of them. Before there was Jenga, there was Blockhead! Same idea, but more colorful blocks and harder to stack because of the shapes. Comes with original box from 1975 and 13 blocks plus Blockhead base.Cavalier magnetic chess with original box and all pieces. Great for taking with you on trips and can be played while in motion in a car or a plane. Made in the 1970s.This parcheesi game was made 1938-1945 and features incredible graphics. American game makers, Selchow and Righter, trademarked the Parcheesi name in 1874 after purchasing the game rights in 1867. This set includes the original box, game board, dice, and game pieces for four players. There are two of the four original dice cups.These four shuttlecocks, also known as badminton birdies, come in their original packaging, although one of the four is a different type. They have rubber tips.These four vintage cups and saucers were made by Arcopal France, known as "French Pyrex," and made from opal milk glass. These are in the Blue Onion pattern, also known as Aster. Comes with a cute little ceramic shoe made in Holland.This Ken Griffey Jr. Home Run Robbery Bobblehead is new in the box. All you need to do is attach him to the stand. It commemorates a great play made by Griffey on May 5, 1996. It was a promotional giveaway item at a Seattle Mariners game on April 15, 2024.This Fisher-Price Wind-Up Record Player is from 1971 and comes with all the original records, plus another three produced in the 1980s. Hours of fun!These three Homer Laughlin cups include two in the Harlequin style (green and blue) and one in pink that doesn't look like Harlequin, but it might be. Also not sure if the saucer is Harlequin or Fiestaware.These vintage ladies gloves are white decorated with what appear to be beige rice pearls. They are a perfect size small. Still very soft material.These six pieces of vintage artwork are still in the original packages! They came for free when you bought Mr. Clean. Each includes three nursery rhyme characters: Wee Willie Winkie, Little Boy Blue, Little Jack Horner, Little Bo Peep, Mistress Mary, and Little Miss Muffet.These vintage advertisements are from Collier's Magazine. They include ads for Texaco, Shell, Pennzoil, and Champion Sparkplugs. Bright colors.This silver overlay glass dish includes a scalloped edge and two sections divided by glass. It is likely made by Silver City.This vintage Canada Dry advertisement can be dated from the invitation to watch "Super Circus" on TV. That show was broadcast from 1949 to 1956. The company closed in 1972.This vintage Yahtzee game not only has all the pieces and the original box, but it comes with an extra set of score pads! Enjoy hours of fun with this classic dice game.This 11-piece set of Unicorn China includes four salad plates and seven small bowls. They were produced by Thomas Hughes & Son in England, 1930-1935. The pattern is also known as "Unicorn Blue Panels." Beautiful condition.This 1964 Fisher Price Pull-a-Tune is perfectly playable and includes the original mallet. This classic toy provides hours of creative play with a pleasing sound. During it's long production, the xylophone was slightly changed with different lithographs on the sides, wooden wheels verses plastic wheels, wooden mallet verses plastic mallet, etc., but the over-all look, action, and appeal remain the same through all of the years.These hand-painted Franciscan glasses can be used for champagne or desserts, like sherbet or ice cream. Very delicate glass that features the Desert Rose design, produced from 1941 to 1984. It was the second hand-painted design produced by Franciscan after the Apple design. Stan Boreson was the "King of Scandinavian Humor," a Norwegian-American comedian, accordionist and singer from Everett, Washington. He was an early local TV star in the Seattle area, with a career that included 12 years as the host of the children's show "King's Klubhouse" on KING-TV. Boreson was adept at musical parody and brought his “Scandahoovian” stylings to the genre. Throughout his career he released 16 albums. This gorgeous set of Franciscan includes a sugar bowl with lid and cream pitcher, along with matching saucers. It is in the El Patio design and maroon color. These were produced only from 1948 to 1950, so fairly rare. They are in excellent condition and don't look like they were even used!!These four Johnson Bros. ceramic mugs feature pheasants, often called game birds, and date from about 1940 to 1960. They feature an embossed mark on the bottoms that says Made in England.This is a battery-operated Thomas the Tank Engine that can pull the other cars. See other lots for other train cars. There are no stains or tears. The thread colors and fabric are bright.These two counting books include touchable elements and follow five honeybees and 10 lady bugs. They are in great condition and very sturdy. Can stand up to curious pre-schooler hands.Newer issues of two Little Golden Books, one about God and one including prayers for children. Great condition.Benjamin Franklin $100 plastic playing cards. Complete deck, used, in good shape. Plastic playing cards are generally considered to be longer lasting than traditional paper cards.This is a collection of (13) stickers from local Seattle and Pacific NW merchants. Coffee, beer, fruit stands, corner stores and cheese-makers. Two rectangular pins from the opening of SAM's expansion into downtown Seattle in 1991. Excellent condition.Four unused canned salmon and king crab labels from the canning capitol of the Pacific NW, Anacortes.Seahawks legend Steve Largent was, during his playing time, the most productive receiver in the history of the NFL. The first player to catch 100 touchdown passes, Largent also had a consecutive games receiving streak of 177 games. NFL Man of the Year, US Representative from the State of Oklahoma, and Hall of Famer. This is an 18 oz.box, sealed, with the original product still inside.These two small glasses are about the size of a juice glass, but with beautiful painted decoration on the outside. Traditionally these are used to serve tea in Morocco. Great condition with no paint loss.These mugs were made by Buffalo China after 2004. They are in good condition with just a few scratches around the inside of the rims at the top.The Collin Street Bakery has been making fruit cakes in Texas since 1896.  In 1958, the business was transformed from a beloved regional bread bakery into a national and international sensation, known for its mail-order fruitcakes.Cute image on the top and solid all around. A few spots of missing paint, but it's ready for your holiday goodies!This authentic 1950s advertisement is framed under glass. It features Santa enjoying his favorite beverage.These three vintage car ads, include promotions for Cadillac and Pontiac. Unframed.This Heywood Wakefield mid-century modern full-size bed comes with headboard, footboard, and side rails, but no cross slats. It is in the highly desired champagne finish. There is a full-size mattress for it that is relatively new.This 13-piece creche, also known as a nativity scene, includes all the key characters: Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the three kings/wise men, and a shepherd along with his three sheep. There's even a donkey, a cow, and a manger bed.
