Welcome to our first sale of the Autumn Season, featuring the many collections that belonged to a woman who had a beloved local antiques and gift shop and a gentleman who was a skilled woodworker. This residence from Tacoma’s Grand Era of Architecture is filled from top to bottom with antiques and ethnographic finds, prints and paintings, primitives and books, jewelry and fashion, whimsical accents and garden treasures. And wait until you see what we have discovered in cellar and garret….

Featured are a charming petite oak armoire, vintage chests of drawers in a variety of styles, a lovely hand painted secretary, brass bed, a 3-stack barrister’s bookcase, an unusual Eastlake style period icebox, oak sideboard, porches full of white wicker in many forms, a primitive pie safe, a German Deco tall case clock, a great accent tables from many eras, antique and vintage chairs in sets and singly in a variety of styles, and more. Glass featuring an extensive Fenton collection including lamps and fairy lights, milk glass featuring Westmoreland “Roses and Bows”, Waterford, and colored glass plus stunning stained glass panels. Polish pottery in a variety of shapes and sizes, Fiesta Ware, Russian Lomonosov and more. Jewelry, more jewelry, and even more: traysful of vintage, rhinestone, Bakelite, sterling and others. A Farrand player piano with rolls.

Original and folk art including prints, paintings and etchings, an antique handpainted Swedish door, a large collection of hand carved and painted Russian Santas, woodcarvings from around the world, an antique carousel horse that once stood guard at a shop in Gig Harbor, and an unusual large carved Gothic architectural element. Not one, but two, Tom Torrens bells, one hanging, one standing. Unusual and quirky smalls, inlaid boxes and trunks. Karastan and other carpets. Many Indian baskets, beading and carvings. Lamps and lighting in a variety of shapes, sizes and eras.

Imported special holiday treasures including German nutcrackers, Steinbach wooden ornaments, Erzgebirge wood carvings, wonderful hand carved and hand painted Russian Santas, and nostalgic glass ornaments. Textiles: vintage linens and quilts, Pendleton blankets, plus vintage clothing and accessories. A handicrafts room with beading supplies, buttons and more. Tools including some antique examples. Garden whimsies, pots and accents.
