Mid Century and Vintage - Estate Sale in Felida!

We did it again! We managed to get what usually takes us a week and a half done in less than a week.... and it's fabulous!!
If you are a fan of mid-century, or just vintage... you will love this sale.

BUSINESS FIRST:

There will be a sign up list. It will go outside the home at 9am on Saturday morning. You will be responsible for adding your name - one name per number - please. I will line folks up at approx. 9:45am - in order. This is kind of a smaller home and we will have to limit entry. If we get uncomfortably/unsafely full - we will have to resort to  one in, for every one out. We will be working as quickly as possible to keep everyone moving.

What's inside?

LIVING ROOM:

Lane Copenhagen. If you know... you know. Gorgeous light wood mid century beauties with detailed brass feet. We've got a pair of end tables in great condition and a drop side coffee table that is a little more worn. Still incredible! There are a pair of MCM lamps, a Henri Bequet vase, other pottery and glass, great vintage books (medical, religious, poetry and more), vintage Viking glass, lazy susan chip and dip in a seashell style, bowl of costume jewelry, original artwork, Flexsteel floral sofa, sweet Cable-Nelson spinet piano, Jim Bean deer decanter, Space Needle glass plate, vintage purse and matching shoes, brass horsehead bookends, brass elephants and herons, Roseville pottery, round MCM smaller end table, vintage Christmas ornaments - loose and boxed, Mission style leather and wood recliner, MCM brass pole lamp, antique walnut starburst hall tree, modern media table, small newer tv w/Roku, Lunsdstrom 2 shelf barrister case, even more antique books... and the clothes. A rack full of amazing vintage clothing! H Bar C - PANTS! 2 Pair! Fancy dresses, Levi shirts, western, vintage Hawaiian, mink coat... I mean, these clothes are incredible!

KITCHEN:

Vintage heaven!  Starting with the amazing dining set. Mid century coolness - faux wood top with the most incredible wood and chrome pedestal base - and 4 black vinyl and chrome chairs. This is a really nice set. Only one chair has some cracking. On the table - chrome and glass lazy susan set, White Orchid flatware in a really neat wood box, black and silver china, brass birds, clocks, chrome and glass serving and decorative pieces, smoky vintage drinkware. This two sided (handmade?) wood and glass room divider is so neat and SO handy!!! It's  covered in more vintage kitchen goodies - Pyrex, old spices, metal canisters and much more. TWO green kitchen (or wherever) carts - with electric.  Vintage cooking and baking, potholders - yarn and thread, vintage cookbooks. It's almost pie making season and we've got cute vintage pie pans! Vintage and modern small appliances, pots and pans, cute dish towels (we have great day of the week ones!) and much, much more. For a small kitchen - we've packed it in!

FAMILY ROOM:

Broyhill Brasilia. Big and beautiful - and such a classic Mid century design. We've got a fabulous hutch! You've seen them on Marketplace and Chairish for ridiculous prices - and we have it for less. And... don't forget - we have a bid box for anything over $50! Bid away! This beauty is filled with etched glass drinkware, Bohemian glass, a massive and really neat punchbowl (I Never say that about punchbowls, but...), vintage California ephemera and more. We've got a vintage rocking chair that the homeowner lovingly made 2 sets of pads for - we opted for the hot pink velvet!  Brass and glass coffee and end tables, crystal bowls and vintage books, leopard runners and table cloth, 2 racks of vintage and modern books, media and more decor... including a Jim Beam swordfish decanter. Vintage planters, a blue swivel chair, large floral area rug and the biggest and brightest afghan I've ever seen!

OFFICE:

Lane Copenhagen - but make it the coolest desk ever. Drop side, beautifully kept and so Now. Vintage typewriters, office and school supplies, YARN - SO MUCH YARN! Sewing machines - one with table, sewing and craft supplies, fabric and more. This is a fun room!!

MASTER BEDROOM:

More Broyhill Brasilia! Lowboy dresser with mirror, highboy/gentleman's dresser and a KING size headboard. (we have the Hollywood frame in the garage that goes with it). These pieces are amazing and in wonderful shape!! We've also got fun vintage decor, hats, scarves, purses, shoes a closet and TWO racks of clothing! Granny core and more!! En suite bath has more vintage fun! Practical and cool.

BEDROOM 2:

In the hallway, you'll find a closet with no door and it's FULL of tablecloths and other linens. In the Bedroom - you'll find even more linens... Bed linens! Afghan heaven, quilts galore - hand and machine made, Doilies and runners, quilt toppers and baby blankets. Modern blankets and comforters as well. Lamps, some decor, Danielle Steele hardbacks and another closet (half) full of cool clothing.

GARAGE:

This little garage is SO full! We've got your usual suspects - hand and power tools, household and garden maintenance supplies and chemicals,  more small kitchen appliances - lots of NIB items, more romance novels, some decor, ladders, some small furniture,  games and electronics. Christmas galore! Dept 56 and lots of vintage!!!

There is another ladder and a little outdoor furniture on the back deck.

This certainly isn't the biggest sale of the summer - but it's got some great hits!
