Buyers will be contacted by either Best Estate Services or our local shipping provider once packages are ready to be shipped out. There is no need to reach out unless there’s an issue with your order.
Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling costs, shipping information is not included in the purchase price of your item(s). Best Estate Services offers in-house packing and shipping, or will have UPS, USPS, or FedEx handle the shipping process at our own discretion. Buyers may also choose to arrange a local pick up, and can reach out via email at hello@bestestateservices.com to schedule one with Best Estate Services.
The packing and shipping process begins once the initial auction invoice has been paid by the winning bidder. Once packed, buyers will then either receive a separate invoice from Best Estate Services for shipping and handling costs, or a phone call from one of our local shipping providers, who will handle all shipping from that point on. Local pick ups are free and must be arranged beforehand with a representative.
All items must be picked up, or shipping arrangements made, within two weeks of the day of sale. NOTE: Items left here more than two weeks will incur storage fees at a rate of $10.00 per lot per day (this rate applies to all items regardless of size or value). Once the shipper has your items, please allow 5-7 business days for them to process and package your purchase. If payment for shipping has not yet been made, the shipper will contact you to arrange payment and then ship your items. Please note that full payment for your items must be received by Best Estate Services, Inc. before we will turn your item(s) over to the shipper. Remember that if you pay with a cashier’s check, your items will be given a release date of 10 days after your payment is deposited. This date is supplied to the shipper and they cannot ship your item(s) until after that date unless you provide Best Estate Services, Inc. with a copy of your bank statement showing that the check has cleared your account (we cannot check this from our bank). Valid forms of payment for items under $1,500 are credit or debit cards (American Express is NOT Accepted), or cashier's checks, and bank wire transfers.
For items or total purchases over $1,500, we ONLY accept cashier's checks with bank letters of reference or bank wire transfers.

CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. Auction – This is a public sale conducted by Best Estate Services, Inc., Best Estate Services, Inc. is the agent of the items being sold at auction. By bidding on any item at auction the purchaser agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale or any other conditions announced and/or published. 2. As Is – All items (hereinafter referred to as item(s), lot(s), article(s), antique(s), property, etc.) for sale are sold “AS IS” and Best Estate Services, Inc., its agents, employees, and/or consignors do not make any guarantees, warranties, or representations, expressed or implied, with respect to the items or the correctness of the catalogue or other description of the authenticity of authorship, physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, provenance, exhibitions, literature or historical relevance of the property or otherwise, except where applicable under the Terms of Guarantee (applies ONLY to published catalog auctions, NOT Online Only Auctions). No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty, or representation. 3. Condition – All prospective bidders should inspect the property they wish to purchase prior to bidding. If a bidder is unable to view an item in person, they are responsible for obtaining a condition report and/or additional photographs prior to bidding to determine an article’s condition, size, and degree of restoration. We endeavor to be fair and forthright with our descriptions and condition reports; however, bidders must acknowledge that antique items often show normal wear and tear. See photos for condition, accuracy, and completion/ missing parts. All items are as-is.
LAST MINUTE/ SECOND BIDDING: Depending on numerous factors including the device you are using to bid, internet connectivity, location, network latency, etc. last minute/second bidding may in rare events result in an auction timer display error showing the auction has ended. Users, whether bidding or watching, should use their internet browser's refresh button during the last minute/seconds of an auction to ensure timer accuracy and reduce the chance of display errors. If users wait until the last minutes/seconds to place a bid or are watching an item and for any reason are unsuccessful when the auction item ends - the final results of the auction will stand as our system indicates. Our auctions generally have a 2-week duration or more, giving sufficient time for users to place bids. Users are encouraged to use the 'Max Bid' feature which allows the system to bid on your behalf to counter any last minute/second bidding.
BUYER'S FEES: An Auction Buyer's Fee will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. Buyers' fee percentage is determined by the actual amount of the final accepted high bid on each item.
