CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. Auction – This is a public sale conducted by Best Estate Services, Inc., Best Estate Services, Inc. is the agent of the items being sold at auction. By bidding on any item at auction the purchaser agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale or any other conditions announced and/or published. 2. As Is – All items (hereinafter referred to as item(s), lot(s), article(s), antique(s), property, etc.) for sale are sold “AS IS” and Best Estate Services, Inc., its agents, employees, and/or consignors do not make any guarantees, warranties, or representations, expressed or implied, with respect to the items or the correctness of the catalogue or other description of the authenticity of authorship, physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, provenance, exhibitions, literature or historical relevance of the property or otherwise, except where applicable under the Terms of Guarantee (applies ONLY to published catalog auctions, NOT Online Only Auctions). No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty, or representation. 3. Condition – All prospective bidders should inspect the property they wish to purchase prior to bidding. If a bidder is unable to view an item in person, they are responsible for obtaining a condition report and/or additional photographs prior to bidding to determine an article’s condition, size, and degree of restoration. We endeavor to be fair and forthright with our descriptions and condition reports; however, bidders must acknowledge that antique items often show normal wear and tear.

LAST MINUTE/SECOND BIDDING: Depending on numerous factors including the device you are using to bid, internet connectivity, location, network latency, etc. last minute/second bidding may in rare events result in an auction timer display error showing the auction has ended. Users, whether bidding or watching, should use their internet browser's refresh button during the last minute/seconds of an auction to ensure timer accuracy and reduce the chance of display errors. If users wait until the last minutes/seconds to place a bid or are watching an item and for any reason are unsuccessful when the auction item ends - the final results of the auction will stand as our system indicates. Our auctions generally have a 2-week duration or more, giving sufficient time for users to place bids. Users are encouraged to use the 'Max Bid' feature which allows the system to bid on your behalf to counter any last minute/second bidding.
BUYER'S FEES: An Auction Buyer's Fee will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. Buyers' fee percentage is determined by the actual amount of the final accepted high bid on each item.

Payment Instructions: Valid forms of payment for items under $1500 are credit or debit cards (American Express not Accepted), or cashier's checks, and bank wire transfers

For items or total purchases over $1500, we accept cashier's checks with bank letters of reference or bank wire transfers for purchases over $1500
Cashier Checks should be made payable to BEST ESTATE SERVICES INC. Call 262-799-5167 to coordinate Wire Transfers.

Shipping & Pick-up Information

Shipping information is not included in the purchase price of your item(s). If you are the successful bidder, you can collect your property in person, or have Best Estate Services, Inc. assist you with shipping arrangements by putting you in contact with local professionals who assist our customers with their packaging and shipping needs. How the shipping process works: You contact one or more of the shippers listed above (or a shipper of your own choosing) to obtain a shipping estimate. Be sure to provide the shipper with the following information: Your Name, Lot number(s) purchased, Invoice Total, and the Zip Code to which the items are being shipped. Please note that most shippers cannot generate a shipping quote until after an item is purchased. You must contact Best Estate Services, Inc. and let us know which shipper you would like to use (hello@bestestateservices.com) or call (262) 799-5167. Items are then picked up at Best Estate Services, Inc. auction house by the shipper. If you are utilizing a shipper for smaller items, we have pick-up times scheduled at least once a week following each auction, but if necessary, special pick-up times can be arranged if you require your items immediately (please note that there may be additional charges for special pick-up times). For larger items, please have the shipper call us to arrange a pick-up time. Shippers can pick up items at our location between 9AM and 4:30PM Monday through Friday by appointment. All items must be picked up, or shipping arrangements made, within two weeks of the day of sale. NOTE: Items left here more than two weeks will incur storage fees at a rate of $10.00 per lot per day (this rate applies to all items regardless of size or value). Once the shipper has your items, please allow 5-7 business days for them to process and package your purchase. If payment for shipping has not yet been made, the shipper will contact you to arrange payment and then ship your items. Please note that full payment for your items must be received by Best Estate Services, Inc. before we will turn your item(s) over to the shipper. Remember that if you pay with a cashier’s check, your items will be given a release date of 10 days after your payment is deposited. This date is supplied to the shipper and they cannot ship your item(s) until after that date unless you provide Best Estate Services, Inc. with a copy of your bank statement showing that the check has cleared your account (we cannot check this from our bank).If you have any questions about paying for your items, please contact Best Estate Services Inc. at hello@bestestateservices.com or call our office at 262-799-5167
