Hamilton Collection of Fine Craftsmanship & Antiques
Online Auction
INTERNET BIDDING FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
This impressive auction in Beckley is the estate of Scott Hamilton, a respected lifelong resident of Beckley, West Virginia, and the former owner of Fairfield Cabinets. Renowned for his skill as a master craftsman, Mr. Hamilton, alongside his wife, cultivated a deep appreciation for antiques and fine collectibles. This auction offers a rare opportunity to acquire both his handcrafted works and a thoughtfully assembled collection reflecting a lifetime of passion, craftsmanship, and discerning taste.
At the heart of this offering is a selection of high-end, handcrafted furniture created by Mr. Hamilton himself—pieces that exemplify quality, function, and enduring design. These works are complemented by an exceptional array of antique and vintage items spanning multiple categories and collecting interests.
Highlights include an Antique Sessions “Gingerbread” Clock; stoneware crocks from T.F. Repertoire, Richey & Hamilton, Donaghho, and a Hamilton & Jones cobalt blue stenciled example; and a unique Antique German brass apothecary nesting cup weight set. Collectors will also appreciate vintage promotional book banks, Coca-Cola memorabilia, tobacco tins, and a fine assortment of vintage collectible tins.
Additional offerings feature Pyrex Amish Butterprint refrigerator dishes, Fenton hobnail milk glass swung pitchers, Wedgwood, Shawnee pottery—including the iconic Smiley Pig cookie jar—Lenox pieces, and an electrified Aladdin oil lamp with a hand-painted milk glass shade. The catalog also includes an antique smoker’s pipe cabinet, hand-stitched quilts, vintage banks, Asian décor, model collectibles, and a charming selection of seasonal décor including Patience Brewster by Mackenzie-Childs Christmas figurines, Byers’ Carolers, and vintage holiday pieces.
For those with an interest in tools and specialty equipment, the auction includes a Mini-24 40-watt laser with Filtrabox compact fume extractor and rotary attachment, a DeWalt DG6000E generator, and an Antique Enterprise No. 2 coffee grinder. Rounding out the sale are cast iron toys, Art Deco statues, an antique English bow saw, outdoor furniture with fire pit, local ephemera, and autographed books including They Died With Their Boots On by Lacy A. Dillon.
This is a diverse and well-rounded collection—blending craftsmanship, history, and collectible appeal—offering something of interest for both seasoned collectors and everyday buyers alike.
