Imperial Estate Sales exceeded every expectation! They were the only company interviewed not to require a large up-front deposit. I was really lucky and enjoyed working with Jenn who owns Imperial Estate Sales. I was handling estate sales for a dear friend who needed to go into a Group Home setting. Jenn and her company were quick to call me, gave me all the details on how they work the sale using social media and pictures taken of the goods for sale to promote and attract customers and her pricing. Jennie and her team did a great job for my mother, who was downsizing from a large home to a retirement community. Jennie did everything she said she would do and was a good communicator. Her team consolidated and sorted the items being sold to make it easier for buyers and so she could prevent people from going through the entire house. Although we were not present during the sale, it seems like she got good traffic, and I know that she has some regular buyers who follow her sales. After the sale, Jennie arranged to have the remaining items removed from the home, and it was left in excellent condition. My mother received her final check in a timely manner, and the proceeds were in line with our expectations. These situations are never easy, and there are a lot of emotions. I interviewed a couple of companies and chose Jennie Gutierrez to conduct my late fathers estate sale. She proved to be the right fit for us as she was honest, trustworthy, and a hard worker. As soon as I signed a contract, I handed her the keys to take over. She posted pictures of the larger items that evening for pre-sale. She organized and staged all of the rooms, and took special care that the house was locked and secure after being there pricing the items and preparing a week prior to the sale. Once the sale was complete, she met with me 3 days following and gave me the proceeds along with a spreadsheet of the items sold. Jennie also took care of any items that didn't sell, and had them donated to a local organization as requested. My wife and I recently had occasion to use the services of Imperial Estate Sales to dispose of a large estate that had been the property of our daughter, who had passed away unexpectedly early. We were extremely satisfied with the results of the estate sale and the services provided by Imperial Estate Sales. They exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them.

To appreciate the magnitude of what was involved in our estate sale and the challenges it presented, let me give a brief description of the sale. Our daughter was a woman of exquisite taste, and wide-ranging interests, who had assembled over the years a very large amount of fine women’s clothing (dresses, jackets, furs, purses, boots), jewelry (both fine and high-end costume jewelry), art works, and a large library of better books. The estate also included many musical electronic components as well as a large collection of musical DVDs representing most major artists of the last 50 years, popular and classical. There were also many items of furniture and home furnishings. Given the size and value of the estate, it was a major undertaking to organize, catalog, and price the items in the estate sale. Jennie Gutierrez and her staff at Imperial Estate Sales were up to the challenge. The actual estate sale was conducted over 2 three-day weekends, but the preparation for the sale required something in excess of a month. The size of the estate allowed for a variety of items to be spread over the two weekends, with completely new items being brought out for the second weekend to maintain interest. Imperial Estate Sales did a highly effective campaign of advertising and publicity for the sale, and it was very well attended over the two weekends. After the sale was concluded, Imperial Estate Sales organization provided transport services to take the unsold items that we wished to retain to our storage location and delivered the remaining items to charity. They also removed all their tables and display equipment and cleaned up the house in an excellent manner.

Imperial Estate Sales did a great job of displaying a large quantity of different items – everything from furniture to vases, jewelry, plants, yard tools, etc. They also did a great job of clean-up after the sale. They were easy to work with throughout the process. I had called several other companies in the area and they either did not call back are were way more expensive to use. I left a message on Imperial Estate sales answering service and got a call back from Jennie. The whole process was new to me and she did a great job explaining everything and what the costs were. At the end we made way more money for stuff I thought was Junk, but actually sold for a decent price. All around they did a fantastic job from start to finish. My mom was diagnosed with dementia and needed to move in with me, which put is in the situation of having to sell her home and the contents inside quickly. Jennie came highly recommend by our realtor. We hired Imperial Estate Sales for two separate sales at homes of loved ones who had recently died. It is so difficult losing a loved one. That difficulty is compounded by the need to go through all of their belongings and letting things go. Jenn and her team were incredibly supportive and respectful of this process. We simply had to remove the things we wanted to keep, and they took care of the rest! As they sifted through decades of things, they identified and set aside any personal items that we may have missed. They communicated with us every step of the way. They started advertising online and selling larger items right away, and kept detailed records of what was sold. A couple days after the sales the homes were totally empty and ready to put on the real estate market. Honestly, the amount of work they put in was incredible, and if I had earned nothing it would have been worth it just to spare me the time and emotional struggle of clearing the house out on my own.
