We sold our home in old Leawood because a family illness made it a necessity to move out of state. We decided that we would take very little of our possessions in the move and concluded that we needed to have an estate sale. We had been in the habit of going to other peoples’ estate sales so we were somewhat familiar with the local players. One of our favorites had also been recommended by our realtor so I called them and was referred to Kirsten at Lily’s Estate Sales.



Our home had sold faster than we thought it would and we needed to get the sale lined up quickly in order to have it completed by our closing date. Lily’s was more than accommodating! They came in and got everything set-up, priced, and ready for the sale. They executed a great sale and afterwards, they also performed the clean out to the great satisfaction of our realtor, as the house was ready to convey to the buyer!



This has been a rather traumatic experience for my family and yet Lily’s took all the anxiety and concern out of the process and genuinely took our burden and executed a fabulous estate sale. Their terms are fair and the payout was received quickly. If an estate or moving sale is in your future, I highly recommend Lily’s!

A recent health issue forced us to move our brother out of a property in Overland Park and into a long-term healthcare facility. The move meant that we needed to clear out the house and sell most of our brother's personal possessions. This was a very challenging time for us and to complicate matters, we had to manage all of this from over 525 miles away. In preparation for our move, we interviewed several recommended estate sales companies. None were able to set up and sell in our time frame. One company suggested we call Lily’s Estate Sales. We did and we are extremely happy to have chosen them. Their team of five to seven people worked diligently to successfully market and sell our items. They went out of their way cleaning items, show placing them, researching items that were not familiar with and often asking us if there was a story behind an item. They were honest, returning many items they thought we would want to keep. After our successful sale, they did a great job of cleaning up everything, sweeping the floors and vacuuming. During our selection process, we found out many estate sales companies only have 2-3 people helping at the sale. Lily’s has 5-7 people helping at the sale. Lily’s Estate Sales is well worth their percentage of the dollars brought in. If Lily’s is available, have them do your estate sale. The people are very hard working, honest and will give you the best return on your investment.

We were absolutely astonished at the results and they exceeded our expectations on every level. We felt great that our mother's belongings were going to people who wanted and needed them for a fair price. Kirsten and the team were professional, respectful and together we had a wildly successful estate sale that turned those possessions into cash for us and for their team. Lily's Sales hosted an estate sale for my mother's 50+ years of accumulated household and garden goods. We met with them on a Friday, agreed to their terms and because they had an opening and the weather was favorable, they began their work that Sunday. In 4 days, they turned my mother's home into a beautiful shop, displaying her belongings strategically and with care. The sale then progressed over Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the home was completely empty, vacuumed and turned back over to us. On Monday, we received the proceeds.Shelly H.

We hired Lily's to handle the estate sale for my father's house after he passed away. They came in, gave a rough estimate for what they thought the sale would bring, and then got to work. They handled literally everything, starting with a disorganized house full of stuff, organizing it for sale and selling it, and then leaving us with an empty house after the sale.

They ended up grossing about 30 percent higher than the original estimate, cut us a check the day after the sale, and perhaps most importantly left the house clean and empty afterwards so we could put it on the market. I think it would have taken us weeks or even months to empty the house by ourselves, but they cleaned it out as part of the service. It was a huge relief.
