GUARANTEES OF AUTHENTICITY - Each signed item is unconditionally guaranteed genuine without time limit and comes with at least one signed Certificate of Authenticity. These coas are fully illustrated with serial numbers and searchable online . If a lot is declared to not be authentic by a recognized expert in this field we will ask the purchaser to supply the written opinion of that dealer provided they are one of the over 300 registered UACC dealer members . WE DO NOT REFUND BASED ON OPINIONS OF THE OPINION COMPANIES such as PSA JSA GAI Or BSA in the other case described above, We will refund the purchase price after that documentation has been submitted. The buyer's only remedy under this guarantee is the cancellation of the sale and the refund of the purchase price. Please call us before returning any item(s).

WITHDRAWING BIDS - You are obligated to honor any bid(s) you place, and no bids may be withdrawn for any reason, at any time. There will be no exceptions. Failure to comply will result in the termination of future bidding.

PAYMENT - Invoices will be sent within 72 hours of the close of an auction. Payments are accepted through PayPal, credit card over the phone, or by check or money order. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Piece of the Past, Inc. Payment for non-credit card holders must be sent upon receipt of notification of auction won. Failure to comply with this policy will void your return privileges and will affect your customer status. Personal and business checks are accepted, but for new bidders winning $500 or more in items, we wait 21 calendar days for checks to clear. Returned checks will be subject to a $25 fee. Orders paid by bank check or money order are shipped upon receipt of payment. Credit card orders will be shipped first. Overseas orders MUST be paid by credit card, no exceptions.

TERMS OF SALE - You are obligated to honor any bid(s) you make and authorize us to charge your credit card for any unpaid winnings. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the auction may incur a 1.5% per month late fee. In the event that you fail to pay all amounts due, Piece of the Past, Inc. reserves the right to resell the merchandise, and will hold you responsible for the costs of resale and any difference between the resale prices and the price of the original bid.

SHIPPING - All orders are typically shipped via USPS. However, at the discretion of Piece of the Past, Inc., item(s) may be sent via overnight or two-day delivery on orders of high value. If an item is oversized or heavier than normal, postage will be adjusted to the exact USPS charge and any additional fees for shipping will be added to your invoice. Insurance is added to each shipment and paid for by Piece of the Past, Inc. as a courtesy to our customers. We do not ship C.O.D. nor do we ship on weekends.

SELLER RIGHTS - Piece of the Past, Inc. reserves the right to postpone the auction for a reasonable period of time as the result of any significant event (i.e. an Act of God, etc...). In this unlikely event, bidders and consignors will be notified of the new closing date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - By participating in the auction, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions as listed above. You are agreeing to the alternative dispute of arbitration. Arbitration replaces the right to go to court, including the right to a jury trial. If any dispute arises regarding payment, authenticity, grading, description, provenance, or any other matter pertaining to the auction, the Bidder of a participant in the auction and/or POTP agree that the dispute shall go to binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association (A.A.A.). Arbitration shall be conducted under the provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act and in a locale mutually convenient to both parties. Any claim made by a bidder must be presented within one (1) year or it will be denied. The prevailing party must be awarded reasonable attorney's fees and costs. An award granted in arbitration is enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
