Western Manuscripts and Miniatures

On July 8, Freeman's | Hindman presents its second sale of Western Manuscripts, again alongside Senior Consultant, Dr. Sandra Hindman, who curated the selection and prepared the catalogue. Highlights among the bound volumes include several attractively estimated Books of Hours associated with important artists such as Attavante di Attavante, Herman Scheere, Taddeo Crivelli, Leonardo Bellini, and the Master of the Vitae Imperatorum—the latter once owned by Victorian polymath John Ruskin (author, artist, social critic, and collector).
