An early 19th century American Coin Silver three piece tea set by Edward Lownes, Philadelphia, c.1820. Finely cast Neoclassical design with Flame finials, figural Dragon mask spout, scrolled handles, reeded banding and cast floral decoration. Includes a tea pot, covered sugar and creamer. Each impressed with "E. Lownes" marks. 70.34 troy ozs total. Minor surface wear and denting, monogrammed and inscribed. 7 1/4" to 10 1/2" high.
