We’re excited to introduce a new sale, Art, Subculture, & LGBTQ+ History to the Swann Calendar this season. The sale offers a material-culture-focused view of twentieth century subversion in art, politics, and the queer community. Fine Art highlights include a kaleidoscopic tarot painting by Dutch artist Marijke Koger of The Fool Collective, known for her frequent work with the Beatles in their Sgt. Pepper era, a scarce collection of 22 screen-prints from Gordon Matta-Clark's 1972 installation Walls Paper, and a strong selection of photography from powerhouses including David Wojnarowicz, Katsumi Watanabe, and George Platt Lynes.
