My family and I dreaded the process of cleaning out my sister’s house and barns. John and Lori Hunter made an absolutely heartbreaking ordeal, bearable. They repeatedly, and tactfully, reached out to me as we began the process. Starting was extremely difficult, yet they helped motivate and direct us in only the most respectful way possible. They were timely and always showed up for our meetings. They were accessible throughout the process for questions or concerns. John and Lori had their work cut out for them while dealing with so many diverse family members. We all get along wonderfully, but dealing with my sister’s children, sisters and parents throughout a difficult time period was like walking through a mine field of emotion. They handled us all so wonderfully. They were honest and explained how things would work before, during and after the sale. They were upfront and gave us honest opinions as we worked through the overwhelming amount of items. They worked diligently and respectfully to organize my sister’s extensive estate. They brought monetary and sentimental items to our attention as they discovered treasures in her home that we had missed. They did an excellent job of advertising and bringing attention to the sale. This was a feat during a pandemic and with an estate in a rural area. We had them remove any unsold, remaining items. John and Lori left they house clean and finished the closing details of the sale quickly. We were satisfied with the way in which items were priced and the overall outcome of the sale.
