I am writing to recommend Cory Ellis and his staff at Sound Auction Service. I was introduced to Cory in September of 2017 when my father passed away. Faced with cleaning out the property that has been in my family for eighty years, Cory and his expertise were a Godsend.

Cory met me at my father's house and with compassion and humor he walked through the years of accumulating with a knowledge second to none. He readily identified terms of value, items to be donated, and items to be recycled. A plan was developed and terms were agreed upon. The Sound Auction Service team arrived on the appointed day and proceeded to remove the contents of the 3 story house, garage, shop and paint booth in less than 36 hours!

Once the items were removed like items were put in lots, photographed, and descriptions added to be sold via online auction. At the conclusion of the auction payment was made promptly and with a detailed invoice. Cory kept me apprised of everything throughout the entire process.

In addition to the household and shop s, my father had 2 classic street rods. Not something that Cory usually deals in. He immediately went to work researching the best way to liquidate these cars for the most profit. In the end one was sent to auction and the other one came home to Oklahoma.

Cory went above and beyond what was expected. He contacted the auction company and walked me through consigning the car. He then transported the vehicle to auction and videotaped the car as it was being sold. Cory also made the arrangements for the second car to be shipped to Oklahoma. He coordinated the vehicle pick up in Washington, tracked its progress across the states, and checked the vehicle arrived in same condition it was put on the truck in.

I could not have done all that was accomplished in the last year without Cory's help. He helped to make a difficult transition easier. Cory's empathy and understanding were invaluable. His humor appreciated. Cory and the staff at Sound Auction Service would be a valuable asset to any project.
