Ended Was $100 - Antique Lamp - READ DESCRIPTION - possible Dwight Eisenhower connection

Recently completed a whole house buyout from a great family in Lee's Summit, MO.
Part of the buyout included the lamp as shown with the following details... (but with no way to confirm any of it as the paperwork is missing).
The parents of the lamp owners (who are in their 80s) owned a retail and antique store in the 50s through the early 80s.
Dwight Eisenhower was the President prior to John Kennedy and at some point there was a household auction for some of the contents in the Dwight Eisenhower home... and this lamp was part of that auction.
The lamp had been with the family since the auction and treasured by its owners... however with no way to support any of their statements, we can only sell the lamp based on what we were told and NOT with any proof whatsoever.
We have spent hours looking for any proof and always came up empty.
Measures- 22.5" tall (to top of shade) and base is 5" wide
If you are willing to do some research, you may find something somewhere... but we could not in the little time we had.
It's a great looking antique lamp, but with no proof to back up the statements made to us we are simply selling it as a great looking lamp.
Did we believe the owners? Yes... we did.
Can we prove any of it? No we cannot.
