These lithographs were inspired by the people of the Great Smoky Mountain Region near Gatlinburg.

Robert BASOL Singleton was born in 1940 in Cincinnati, grew up in Northern Kentucky, graduated from Dixie Heights H.S. And joined the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S.A.F.
Robert BASOL was a true Renascence man. He was a guitar player/singer in a local Kentucky band, commercial artist/illustrator by trade; stock broker, and excellent painter. The majority of his work was done in a period of years when he and his family lived in Gatlinburg, TN and displayed his works in various business establishments in the Great Smokey Mountain Area.
