Ed Cicotte was a member of the Chicago "Black Sox" and was banned from baseball, along with Shoeless Joe Jackson and others, for having fixed the 1919 World Series. This is a 1909-11 vintage card that has been authenticated by PSA and graded PSA 4. Cicotte was a leading pitcher of the era and would most likely be in the Hall of Fame except for the betting scandal.
