Joseph D’Aste (1881 - 1945, Italy)

18” from the bottom of the lamp base to the top of the sculpture’s head

34” to top of finale

8” diameter at base

Both are signed on the base

Wiring works

Bacchus with flowers has had a repair to the head and has a chip on the leaves of one flower (see photos) and the socket on the same lamp is missing the top cap and ball on the end of the chain (does not affect light).

D'Aste specialized in portrait and figural sculptures. He exhibited in salons in Italy and France in the early 20th century.
