This heavy punch or other ladle is heavy, weighing approx. 8 troy oz. It measures approx. 12" long. The bowl is approx. 4 1/2" wide.

William Carrington & Co. was formed in 1835. In 1872, Carrington partnered with Stephen Thomas and continued on as the jewelry firm of Carrington, Thomas & Co. which remained in business to 1920 on King Street in Charleston.
