A Neoclassical style writing desk by Tomlinson Furniture. Hardwood with an inlaid leather top, extendable fold-out leaves with pull-out side supports, smooth squared edge to the top, oval carvings to the drawer fronts & reverse side, fluted block knees, and fluted tapered straight legs. Features two lockable drawers with a unique under the desk access to open them, or use the key. Desk was originally painted a green color with work started to give it a refreshed look. Finish the refreshing project to your taste, or use as is with the current very unique presentation. Includes one key. Made circa 1960's.

Very good vintage condition with signs of normal previous use. Original painted finish had been removed, could be repainted or used as is. Being sold as is. Some wear to the leather inserts, especially at the edges. Drawers and flip-tops function properly. Structurally sound and sturdy.
