This is an Imperial German Army belt buckle from World War I. The buckle is a brass M1895 Prussian enlisted man/NCO belt buckle.
The buckle features a crown in the center surrounded by the motto "Gott Mit Uns".
"Gott Mit Uns" is a German phrase meaning "God With Us".

The phrase was a traditional motto of the Kingdom of Prussia and was used by the German armed forces after the German unification.
Allied soldiers often collected these German belts as war trophies during both World War I and World War II.
