Ruby was the youngest daughter of Cheever and Arie Meaders . In the winter of 1892 John Milton Meaders established a pottery shop near Cleveland, GA. With the help of six sons, Wiley, Cleater, Casey, Cauider, L.Q., and Cheever they began to supply the citizens of North Georgia useful, sturdy, utilitarian vessels.
