Description: An original oil on board by French school artist Joseph-Edouard de Gernon, Circa 1850-60s. This beautiful painting retains the original label (behind contemporary framing) and is entitled "Hunters in a Mountain Landscape". The original label also reads "Prepared Mill Board, Winsor & Newton, Artists Colourmen, To Her Majesty, And To His Royal Highness Prince Albert, 38 Rathbone Place, London". This 19th Century work is framed in an incredible handmade pinecone frame by Fred Reed.
Dimensions: Frame 30"W x 22"H x 1.25"D; painting 14.25" x 22.5"
