This is an antique quarter-sawn oak roll-top desk, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.
It features a slatted "S" shape tambour roll that opens to reveal a fitted interior with various cubby holes and small drawers.
The desk base has two banks of drawers with carved pulls and a central drawer over an arched kneehole.
It often includes pull-out writing slides above the main drawers.
The construction uses raised, beveled panels.
