Cloth label from the Goldstein Studio is attached on the back.
Georges Goldstein, architect and artist, was known for creating huge tapestries,
woven on large looms in his historic studio across from the Old City, within the
renowned Artists’ Colony of Jerusalem. His designs were inspired by the works of
known painters, as is this one, with the woven signature of Moshe Tamir. This was
purchased by the current seller from Mr. Goldstein at his studio.
