Tiffany & Co. solid sterling silver Monteith or presentation bowl, model No. 23881, with curved sides, a distinctive reeded scalloped rim, and a raised spreading foot. Marked TIFFANY & CO. MAKERS / STERLING SILVER / 23881. The underside bears a personalized 25th-anniversary inscription dated October 23, 1973. Verified net sterling weight: 996 grams. Approximate maximum dimensions: 9.25 inches in diameter by 5.5 inches high. Excellent estate condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use.
